Frequently Asked Questions

I shoot all over the Triad. Depending on your session type, we can find a location(s) to fit your style, personality and family.

One for family, maternity and newborn sessions. Two if you’re doing a full senior session.

I provide complimentary hair and makeup for my senior clients. However, I’m happy to schedule the same service for a family session with advance notice. Payment can be made directly to the hair and makeup artist. Rates begin around $150 for hair, makeup and optional lashes.

Absolutely! All TAP clients have access to my online style generator to help you make outfitting your session easy. As one of the only photographers offering this service in the Triad (in addition to our normal FaceTime wardrobe consults), I’m thrilled to help address the most common question I get about session prep – what to wear – in a fun and unique way. In fact, in just a few easy steps you’ll be able to mix and match outfits from some of my favorite stores from Target to Free People (with more stores added every day) and shop directly from my platform. You’re gonna love it!
Bring any special item for you or your child(ren). That mangled lovey will be perfect. Make sure you have a brush or comb, extra hair ties and make up for touch ups as needed. Snacks and water are great too for breaks (or bribes), but keep it simple and maybe pick something other than Doritos. No orange dust.
Absolutely! A close friend or family member is often helpful for the little ones (I may even put them to work as an assistant.) Please note though, no other cameras are allowed during your session.
I will place you, but that is different than posing you. My style is a little more relaxed and focuses on your connection with your family. If you never look at me during your session, I won’t bat an eye, but I always try to get that one with everyone smiling at the camera. Don’t worry, it will be great. Read more about my style and what to expect from a TAP session here.
Your images will be ready two weeks following your session. Rush edits are possible at additional cost. Busy season may extend to three weeks.

We’ll reschedule for a mutually agreeable time, but during busy season (fall) I cannot guarantee a weekend day. However, if you want to shoot in the rain, it can make for amazing photos!

You bet! All I ask is that you tag me and let people know who you worked with. Word of mouth is so important to growing my business.

Yes! I offer a wide variety of heirloom prints, canvases, albums and other specialty items via my favorite professional labs. Where you print matters. I promise.

Payment/signed contract is due within two days of booking. Session availability is limited and I cannot hold dates.

Sure can. (And I love travel sessions.) I visit Georgia, Pennsylvania and Florida semi-regularly, but I’m available for photography sessions in all 50 states. Travel fees apply. Email me for details.

Yes! I also offer headshots and personal branding sessions, couples and engagement photos and tween photoshoot parties. Email me for details and pricing.
