When it comes to photography conferences, I don’t sign up lightly. Travel, registration fees, and time away from my business and family mean the return has to be worth the investment. I’ve attended several in the past that offered useful tips or short-term motivation, but few have truly moved the needle in a broad, lasting way. Until PUSH.

Look at my beautiful new friends!
Hosted by Senior Style Guide, the 2025 PUSH Conference took place July 13–17 in charming Greencastle, Indiana and it checked every box on my very picky list.

From pricing and profitability to posing, portfolio shoots, and marketing strategies for senior photographers, every topic was spot on. More than that, the people leading those sessions weren’t distant or unapproachable. They were there to connect, sharing advice, answering questions, and creating a more intimate environment where real learning and relationship-building could happen.
Sure, the styled shoots were gorgeous and gave me beautiful new work to show off. But the true highlight was the people. I had the chance to meet several photographers I’ve admired for years, see ones I’m lucky to know personally and walked away with new friends I’m genuinely excited to keep up with.
That kind of environment doesn’t happen by accident. It’s built with intention, generosity, and a real love for this work and it made all the difference.

Without hesitation. PUSH wasn’t just informative…it was energizing, inspiring, and exactly what I didn’t know I needed. If you’re a senior photographer looking to grow your business while reconnecting with your purpose and your people, you’ll want this one on your calendar next year.
The next PUSH Conference takes place July 12-16th, 2026 and I’m already signed up. Keep an eye on the SSG website or Facebook page for details. You won’t be sorry. See more of my work with seniors here and watch some of the session’s shenanigans below. Lol
