Give me all the babies
Photographing newborn babies makes me incredibly happy, but when you get to photograph a friend with her first baby girl, that’s even better. I first met mama when I took a part-time job at my favorite Greensboro boutique, Art & Soul. She’s the owner there, and though it was a short tenure for me (just temp holiday work), I knew Jenny and I would remain in touch. So naturally I was thrilled when she asked me to be her newborn photographer for her sweet little girl.
Jenny renovated a small room off her master for Stella’s nursery and it was perfection. A beautiful soft pink, a gorgeous chandelier and lots and lots of beautiful light. And even though baby girl was not the least interested in sleeping (we even broke for lunch with yummy homemade soup), we eventually got her to sleep for a few shots with my favorite stuffed bunny. Thanks, Jenny, for inviting me in your home to spend time with your gorgeous daughter. You two were the picture of bliss. xo
